Charlotte is always on the look out for new projects and collaborators, her design process is dramaturgically based and highly collaborative meaning she is a constant presence in the rehearsal room.

 

Charlotte's design style is visually striking, bold and conceptual. It is non naturalistic and abstract, drawing inspiration from the every day but reorganising, exaggerating or twisting it into something more representational. She is an essentialist - everything earns its place on stage, with a great love of reveals, surprises and stage magic. By building in reveals and surprises Charlotte can change and enhance the story, so the design is a constant part of the experience. She likes to use real textures to create a tangible reality, however abstract the concept.
